It is a modern hotel with great view of the surrounding streets and even out to the mountains. The location is lovely and wonderful, in Gion area. Overall yummy food, plus there is Nikubaru Ginjiro Pontocho close by.

Lovely small and stylish hotel managed by respectful people. The place had a quiet atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent with a wide array of dishes to choose from. Its location steps away from Tatsumi Bridge was magnificent. I really enjoyed the property!

Everything in this good small and nicely appointed hotel was modern, we loved it. The venue had an ideal location near Kamo River. Furthermore, close to attractions of kyoto. Have stayed here many times and would love to stay here again.

My recent stay at Hotel Alza in Kyoto was absolutely amazing. The spacious room with floor-to-ceiling glass patio doors offered a breathtaking view of the river. The modern and comfortable accommodations, along with the friendly and accommodating staff, made my stay truly enjoyable. The location was perfect for exploring the city and visiting nearby shrines and temples. The breakfast, either western or Japanese style, delivered to the room was a delightful treat. I highly recommend Hotel Alza for a memorable stay in Kyoto.

I find the hotel fancy, fairly clean and the staff is attentive and exceptionally attentive. The rooms are well-appointed and a decent size and include an electric kettle and glassware. Good service and the food is yummy! They provide wake up calls and ironing without charge too. The location is fantastic and lovely, neat to subway. Love eating outside and there's Mimasuya, set easy walk to the venue. Thank you for a just perfect stay.

Our stay at Hotel Alza exceeded our expectations. The value for our money was excellent, with a large and comfortable room that had all the modern amenities we needed. The location was perfect, with beautiful views of Kamo Kawa and Sakura trees right outside our window. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and always eager to assist us.

The breakfast offerings could use some improvement, perhaps by adding more variety or introducing local specialties.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. On my birthday, they surprised me with a delicious cake from a top French patisserie and gathered to wish me a happy birthday. a fantastic choice for those who appreciate both comfort and class.
